Acrylic on canvas, trees in the evening by the river as a fog rolls in. I was asked to paint a scene of "trees and a river and stuff".  I spent way too much time thinking about the idea, re-working, re-painting, trying this or that, fixing this small detail, finally after a good night's sleep I got the fog right. There are layers to this piece.
